Affirmation-the act of affirming, making a positive assertion, confirming that something is true.
I’m not quite sure how it all came about but I’d say a year or so ago I started collecting positive affirmations in a journal and creating some of my own. Eventually, I wrote them all on the front and back of 3 index cards and now read over them every morning. Reading over them in the morning sets a positive intention over my day and gets my mind right so to speak.
If you find yourself with a negative self dialogue more often than not, positive affirmations can be the catalyst to help change those negative thoughts. Here are some of the ones I use:
